What is the Standard Skydiving Altitude? Generally, a Tandem Skydive is performed from an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet (about 3,000 meters), which provides a freefall period of around 30-40 seconds before the instructor deploys the parachute.

Factors That May Affect Jump Altitude:
- Weather Conditions: Thick clouds, poor visibility, or strong winds may necessitate reducing the jump altitude for safety.
- Airspace Restrictions: Some areas may have restrictions on flight altitudes.
